So, I'm back in Illinois for a past-due pilgrimage. I haven't been back here in two years, but I felt the lure this particular summer to visit my grandparents in their small town of Morrisonville.
And I just realized, this is where it all started - my love for photography.
Some of my very first photos, submitted here exactly five years ago, were of this old town, however blurry and low-quality they may have been. It was my longing to remember this town, and share it with the rest of the world, that brought me to this site to network my photography, and inspired me to keep photographing things near and dear to my heart.
